The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) meets on a regular schedule; however, additional meetings are scheduled as needed based on submission volume. Meeting dates are subject to adjustment due to scheduling conflicts, quorum requirements, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Meetings are primarily conducted via Microsoft Teams (or other university-approved teleconference platforms), though in-person sessions may be called at the discretion of the IBC Chair. IBC meetings are open to the public. To request meeting access or attendance details, please contact chernatynskayaa@mst.edu

Note on Submissions: Initial protocol submissions typically require pre-review and revisions with the EHS Biosafety Office before being placed on the IBC agenda. Please submit your documentation early to allow sufficient time for this process.

In accordance with NIH policy, IBC minutes from meetings taking place on or after June 1, 2025 are available after final review and approval. Minutes from the current year are available in the table above. Minutes from previous years are linked below:
